OPEN TOURNAMENTS
With more than 15 open tournaments held at the Melbourne Esports Open in 2019, there were plenty of opportunities to join in on the esports action.

Oceanic Pro League (OPL)
In an upset victory, Mammoth took out The Chiefs in an epic OPL Grand Final at MEO 2019.

Overwatch Contenders Australia
Contenders fans packed out Rod Laver Arena in 2019 to watch Mindfreak take on Order in the Overwatch Contenders Australia finals. After a well-fought battle, Order ended up claiming victory.

Rainbow Six Six Masters 2019
For its first year at the Melbourne Esports Open, the Six Masters tournament saw some of ANZ’s top Rainbow 6 teams battle it out over the weekend. Although Orgless tried their hardest, they weren’t able to topple Fnatic’s dominant roster, who took out the lion’s share of a 5-digit prizepool.

Australia’s fighting games community came together at the Melbourne Esports Open in 2019 with tournaments in Street Fighter, Tekken, Smash bros and more.
